A superb pair of beautiful 1975 Klipsch Cornwall Decorator speakers. They have been completely restored. They are XOVER type B but with the original, quite rare, Cornel Dublier Aerovox capacitors. Only the old wiring has been replaced with Monster XP HP and the binding posts are new. They have been finished with Watco Danish Oil in Dark Walnut. You will notice the stamps of Judy Coyle (J.C.), who assembled them. They were used extensively in the Klipsch Heritage series, as well as the consecutive serial numbers 7N301 and 7N302. The woofer cones were restored with black ink diluted 50% with alcohol for rapid evaporation, and the result is perfect. All components test within nominal values and function wonderfully. I could have upgraded the crossovers with modern parts and changed the number of MH (magnetic head) coils on the woofers, but I wanted to keep them original. An original brochure for all the 1975 Heritage Series models will be provided to the buyer. The diaphragms in the K-55V and K-77 are all original and Alnico version (more détail). And yes, I did look at the prices offered on the North American market for this type of product in the same condition in various states. It’s worth noting that these are genuine cast aluminum horns, not plastic ones like the newer models that cost over $10,000 a pair. More picture are available if you want.
