Universal Music Enterprises has released the details for ‘The Rolling Stones: The Biggest Bang‘, which is due to hit store shelves on Blu-ray on June 16. Video will be 1080i 1.78:1, accompanied by audio tracks in stereo PCM and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio, and English, French, Spanish, German, Dutch, Italian, Portuguese and Japanese subtitles.
‘The Biggest Bang’ centers around the concert given by the Stones at Zilker Park, Austin Texas in October 2006 as part of their A Bigger Band tour. It must be mentioned that the BD misses out on a large part of the content present on the four-disc DVD, such as the mega-concert the band gave earlier that year in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, or the songs from the Shanghai and Buenos Aires gigs.
