Angie Lisi, proud owner of American Sound / Angie’s Audio Corner in Richmond Hill, Ontario (retail store) and Audiopathways (distributor) held a two-day audio event on September 19th & 20th, 2025 to introduce industry members and clients to an all-new American Sound retail location, located in the quaint town of Stratford, Ontario. The event served to not only introduce the new Stratford location but also to showcase the fine brands that Audiopathways distributes.
Day 1 (Sept. 19th)
Guests were chauffeured via limousine coach from Richmond Hill to the new Stratford retail location, located at 20 Ontario Street, Stratford, Ontario.
The new Stratford, American Sound venue is owned and operated by David Riggs and is now open by appointment (519) 949-3096.
David Riggs was there to welcome guests and introduce them to an appointed-systems, which include the finest of brands offered by Audiopathways, including: Avantgarde Acoustic, AirTight, Esoteric, VAC, Phasemation and others.
The store aims to provide an inviting and enchanting aesthetic to best serve music delivered in the finest manner.
Though I was unable to attend the extravaganza, I did get some photos of the showrooms, as follows:
Showroom 1 – front:
Avantgarde Trio G3 horn loudspeakers can be seen, mated to Avantgarde Spacehorns – Single Drive units (2) set atop of a Twin Drive units (2), set to fully deliver on the bass.
The beautiful Avantgarde loudspeaker products are seen as driven by Air Tight STM-2211 Monaural Power Amplifiers from Japan, with preamplification from an AirTight ATC-7 as well as alternatively from Esoteric Grandioso preamplifier and DAC, with an Aurdender digital music server.
The turntable providing analog source is the room is a Clearaudio Master Innovation paired to a Phasemation EA-1200 phono amplifier (3-box).
Showroom 1 – back:
On the back wall of room 1, as shown sitting on standby against the back-wall, is a pair of Avantgarde Duo SD loudspeakers with AirTight ATC-5S Preamplifier and ATM-300R Stereo Power Amplifier, in addition to an Esoteric N-01XD SE Network DAC and K-03XD SE SACD Player.
Showroom 2:
A more compact showing of Avantgarde features the Uno SD mated to a VAC Master Line Stage.
Seen on the bottom shelf is a Phasemation SA-1500 Integrated Amplifier and EA-350 Phono Amplifier.
The turntable is from Perpetuum Ebner while the digital server is from Aurender.
