Montreal, 2024 – The legendary group STYX will be touring the Maritimes and Quebec in May to perform shows in Moncton (17/05), Summerside (18/05), Halifax (19/05), Laval (21/05), Trois-Rivières (22/05), Alma (24/05), and Quebec City (25/05). Tickets are available HERE.

Winner of a Juno Award and bilingual artist from Fredericton, David Myles, inheritor of the legacies of Johnny Cash, JJ Cale, and Buddy Holly, will be the opening act on this tour.

The seven members of STYX are committed to thrilling audiences worldwide as they enter their second decade with an average of over 100 shows per year, and each of them is dedicated to making the next show even better than the last

. “The legacy of this group will be having brought joy to millions of people,” says drummer Todd Sucherman. Keyboardist/singer Lawrence Gowan adds,

“We’ve always tried to explain why this happens. There are obviously a multitude of factors, but the main one is that our show is really good! And if it’s really good, people will come back to see it!”

“Every night, we take a magic carpet ride together,” observes original bassist Chuck Panozzo, who joins the band on tour as often as he can. “Music is this incredible force that comes from a higher place. I’m honored that this group has achieved such success,” declares guitarist and co-founding singer James “JY” Young. “We just want to keep doing that. We want to let life take its course and let this music continue to be the original soundtrack. And this group will continue to evolve as long as we live and play this music!” wisely concludes guitarist/singer Tommy Shaw.

STYX draws on over four decades of success and immortal rock songs. Like a symphony reaching a crescendo, a Styx show covers a wide range of styles. From “Suite Madame Blue” to “The Grand Illusion,” through “Lady,” “Blue Collar Man,” “Renegade,” “Miss America,” “Lorelei,” “Crystal Ball,” and of course “Come Sail Away,” the band has a practically unlimited reserve of classics, perfect for nourishing the body and the mind.

Crash Of The Crown, STYX‘s latest album released in 2021, reached the number 1 position on the Billboard Rock chart after its release.
