Powered by an in-house factory-wound toroidal transformer driving push-pull high-current output transistors, the DX-5 delivers detailed precision to the midrange, pristine highs and rich, deep, controlled bass. Digital-to-Analog conversion is rendered by a premium ESS Sabre ES9039Q2M 32-bit / 768kHz 2-channel Stereo DAC for superior audio performance. Ultra-low noise and distortion renders audio with stunning clarity and depth on an immersive, high-resolution soundstage.
Traditional Rotel en Classe AB Amplification
Engineered with over 60 years of design experience utilizing a Rotel proprietary power supply and Class AB amplification technology. Genuine, authentic, rich controlled bass energy, attentive midrange and high-frequency response comfortably driving both 8-ohm and 4-ohm loudspeakers.

The DX-5 supports an extensive array of sources including PC-USB up to 32 bit / 384 kHz PCM and DSD 4x (with DoP), Coaxial and Optical digital inputs (up to 24 bit / 192 kHz), and aptX HD and AAC Bluetooth for high-resolution wireless audio streaming. An RCA analog input provides connectivity to all legacy sources such as CD players and turntables with line level outputs.
HDMI ARC with CEC furthers the versatility of installation options allowing seamless TV audio integration creating a 2.1 home entertainment solution utilizing the included subwoofer output. Listen to music, watch movies, connect your game console and enjoy your favorite sports all in high-fidelity.
