Following the launch of DreamPlay X® and XC, Kalista unveils the D/A converter designed to fit with the SACD Transport DreamPlay X®. Mantax® perpetuates the luxurious design of Kalista existing since the beginning of the XXIst century, for an always improving analogue sound performance validated by the most demanding Audiophiles.
DreamPlay X owners have been requesting a D/A Converter capable of being at the level of their exceptional SACD/CD Transport, and here is Mantax.
The communication between DreamPlay X and Mantax is insured by Kalista proprietary I²S signal for a perfect native sound reproduction. The Digital to Analog conversion is performed by two separate lines of AKM and ESS processors, giving wide possibilities in sound restitution profiles.Tube and solid-state analogue outputs are in parallel, allowing even more possibilities of listening comfort to the audiophiles.
The official launch of Mantax will take place by Jean Marie Clauzel and his Team in Vienna, Austria, on November 18th.
The two finishes of Mantax will ship from December 1st : Diamond (silver) and Black Pearl (black). The Retail price is 59,000.00 euros. And like all Kalista® devices, customization is possible on request.
