Even though ‘Pearl’ is my fifth album in fourteen years of my career, I still feel like it’s my first, in a way. I had always dreamed of creating an album like this, and now I have the experience, maturity, freedom, and team to do it.
– Bobby Bazini
Montréal, August 2023 – Singer-songwriter Bobby Bazini will release “Pearl,” his 5th album, on August 25th through his new label, Spectra Musique. Recognized for his smooth voice and unique sound, Bobby Bazini presents with Pearl an album that blends Soul and Folk, creating a sonic ambiance that falls somewhere between Bill Withers and Michael Kiwanuka.
Pearl was produced by Connor Seidel at Treehouse Studio near Montréal. In addition to Seidel, Bazini has surrounded himself with keyboardist Conner Molander (Half Moon Run), drummer Robbie Kuster (Patrick Watson), harpist Eveline Grégoire-Rousseau (Barr Brothers), flutist and saxophonist Félix Petit (Les Louanges), and Antoine Gratton on string arrangements.
