JUNE 10, 2009 – DORVAL, QC – SF Marketing is pleased to announce that the company has been appointed the exclusive distributor for Universal Remote Control’s Consumer Products Line in Canada.
URC’s Consumer Products are designed to answer the needs of today’s consumer — at affordable prices — and are easy to set up and operate. URC offers a full line of products for consumers who desire an easy-to-use solution for operating audio/video and home entertainment systems.
“When presented with the opportunity to distribute both Professional series and Consumer series, it was simply an opportunity we could not pass up” states Steven Freytag, General Manager of SF Marketing’s consumer electronics division. “Having started with URC’s Professional series in February, we were surprised at the number of dealers and custom installers wanting access to both lines. I believe it’s a reflection of the confidence they have in the URC brand” said Freytag.
Debra Sharker, URC Director of Sales agrees. “URC sees great benefit in combining the efforts of both sales divisions with one Distributor” says Sharker. Dealers and custom installers can now place single purchase orders for both Pro and Consumer products making it easier to qualify for prepaid shipping, clean up their receivables, minimize the number of distributors they deal with and maximize rebate programs.
The URC consumer line consists of five handheld models, including the R6, WR7, R50, RF10, and RF20, as well as the RFS200 value pack featuring the RF20 and the MRF100B RF POWERBLASTER. The R6C, WR7C, and R50C are also available in multilingual packaging (minimum order quantities required).
URC’s latest introduction, the DIGITAL R50, features a 2” TFT colour LCD and provides a Setup Wizard right on screen for quick & easy configuration, no Internet or PC required! And it has thousands of built-in control codes to assure full control of your components. “The R50 is Learning Capable, too, so it’s able to assume functions and commands from other remotes, which means it will never become obsolete. It’s truly the last remote control you will ever need” according to Freytag.
