JVC Software Upgrade: Creating Blu-ray Discs…

JVC Software Upgrade Allows for Creating Blu-ray Discs from MP4 Recordings

Through a new software upgrade program, expected to be available by the end of this year, users of JVC’s Everio GS-TD1 camcorder will be able to create Blu-ray discs from MP4 (MVC) recorded files
.
The upgrade program for Everio MediaBrowser 3D, which will come bundled with the aforementioned camcorder, will allow owners to shoot footage in the MP4 (MVC) mode, which allows for 1,920 x 1,080 HD 3D capture, then transfer it to a Blu-ray disc that can be played back on 3D-compatible Blu-ray recorders that support AVCHD v. 2.0.

In order to get the update, customers will need to download the latest version of the software from a PC. It will be made available on the support page of Pixela Corp.’s Website at http://www.pixela.co.jp/oem/jvc/MediaBrowser/e/.

JVC’s Everio GS-TD1 camcorder comes with 64 GB of internal flash memory, plus an SDXC memory card slot. It can record 3D footage, plus play it back on the 3.5″ touch-sensitive LCD, without the need for glasses. It boasts the F1.2 Super Bright “JVC 3D TWIN HD GT LENS” and two back-illuminated CMOS sensors. JVC’s BIPHONIC audio technology is used to reproduce 3D sound.
