Les deux autres albums datent en effet des ann\u00e9es 1990 (<em>un<\/em><em>fold like staircase <\/em>et <em>push and pro\ufb01t<\/em>). Bien que <strong>M<\/strong><strong>a<\/strong><strong>tth<\/strong><strong>e<\/strong><strong>w P<\/strong><strong>a<\/strong><strong>r<\/strong><strong>me<\/strong><strong>n<\/strong><strong>t<\/strong><strong>e<\/strong><strong>r<\/strong>, le multi instrumentiste et <em>leader <\/em>charismatique du groupe ait produit deux excellents essais pendant cette p\u00e9riode, <em>Horror express <\/em>(2008) et <em>astray <\/em>(voir le num\u00e9ro de d\u00e9cembre 2004), ces opus, plut\u00f4t introspectifs et tr\u00e8s personnels, n\u2019ont que peu \u00e0 voir avec ceux du groupe <strong>D<\/strong><strong>i<\/strong><strong>s<\/strong><strong>c<\/strong><strong>i<\/strong><strong>p<\/strong><strong>li<\/strong><strong>n<\/strong><strong>e<\/strong>, consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme mort et enterr\u00e9 par plusieurs, jusqu\u2019\u00e0 sa r\u00e9uni\ufb01cation en 2008 dans le cadre du <em>nearfest <\/em>en Pennsylvanie. \u00c0 partir de ce moment, il \u00e9tait permis de r\u00eaver \u00e0 un nouvel album studio et, \u00e0 ce titre, les optimistes ont eu raison ! <em>to shatter all accord <\/em>constituera ce- pendant une surprise car celui-ci est d\u2019une facture passablement diff\u00e9rente de celle des \u0153uvres pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes qui, pour leur part, a\ufb03chaient un rock progressif sombre et classique. Main- tenant, on explore de nouvelles avenues parsem\u00e9es de passages psych\u00e9d\u00e9liques syncop\u00e9s, de variations rapides et \u00e9clat\u00e9es et de m\u00e9lodies accrocheuses. Ceux qui connaissent bien la<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab premi\u00e8re cuv\u00e9e \u00bb de <strong>D<\/strong><strong>isciplin<\/strong><strong>e <\/strong>\u00e9prouveront peut-\u00eatre un l\u00e9ger malaise au d\u00e9but, particuli\u00e8rement avec la pi\u00e8ce d\u2019introduction (<em>circuity<\/em>), mais qui se transformera en pur plaisir apr\u00e8s quelques \u00e9coutes ! En prime, on a droit \u00e0 une suite de 24 minutes (<em>rogue<\/em>) qui conclut un album riche, \u00e9toff\u00e9 et complexe.
