Fredrikstad, Norway, 15 May 2009<\/strong> – The avielo kroma by projectiondesign\u00ae is set to revolutionize image quality and user experience in the home theatre, thanks to its implementation of ReaLED\u2122 technology \u2013 based on solid state LED illumination.<\/p>\n

Joe Manning, International Market Manager, Home Theater for avielo by projectiondesign<\/strong>, explains: \u201cFrom an image quality point of view, our ReaLED technology gives us an incredible contrast ratio and an image with a colour spectrum purer than any other technology. Additionally, absence of some of the effects traditionally seen with other projectors produces a picture that is better than anything we\u2019ve seen before. The kroma produces outstanding imagery.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Technically, the kroma\u2019s ReaLED light source provides a wider and more consistent colour gamut, with richer and better colour rendition than any competing illumination technology. At the same time, it stays consistent over its entire life time, expected at a typical 100,000 hours, for a long, and service free life of imaging.<\/p>\n

The kroma also offers an incredible environmental benefit. Not only does it use less power than traditional projectors, but it is also free from hazardous materials. Where traditional projector lamps contain mercury that must be carefully disposed of, the kroma\u2019s ReaLED technology is free from any such environmental shortcomings.<\/p>\n
