Montr\u00e9al, janvier 2012 <\/strong>\u2014\u00a0 Dans la foul\u00e9e de la sortie de son album Like A Man \u2013 qui est entr\u00e9 au Top 10 des ventes au Qu\u00e9bec d\u00e8s sa sortie en octobre dernier \u2013 et d\u2019une tourn\u00e9e europ\u00e9enne \u00e0 guichets ferm\u00e9s qui le mena de Lisbonne \u00e0 Dublin en passant par Glascow, Londres, Brighton, Paris, Amsterdam et Bruxelle, Adam Cohen sera de retour au Canada en f\u00e9vrier 2012 pour une s\u00e9rie de spectacles o\u00f9 ilvisitera Ottawa, Montr\u00e9al, Toronto, Sutton, Drummondville, Qu\u00e9bec, Trois-Rivi\u00e8res et Saguenay. Il sera accompagn\u00e9 sur sc\u00e8ne de ses excellents collaborateurs Mai Bloomfeild (guitare, violoncelle, voix) et Michael Chaves (guitare, clavier, percussion, voix et plus), un trio d\u2019enfer qui recr\u00e9e \u00e0 merveille l\u2019\u00e9motion palpable sur Like A Man.<\/p>\n

Intime, romantique et habilement fignol\u00e9, Like A Man n\u2019est pas sans \u00e9voquer le p\u00e8re, ce p\u00e8re dont l\u2019enfant, qui qu\u2019il soit, est un peu \u00e0 l\u2019image. Mais il est bien celui d\u2019Adam, ce chanteur \u00e0 la voix distincte, unique, et au phras\u00e9 singulier, d\u00e9clamant les mots avec une d\u00e9sarmante candeur. \u00abLike A Man est impr\u00e9gn\u00e9 par ma reconnaissance du fait que je suis dans la famille, que je suis un Cohen. En d\u00e9pit des efforts que j\u2019ai mis \u00e0 tenter de me forger une identit\u00e9 autre\u00bb, explique-t-il.<\/p>\n

\u00abJ\u2019appartiens \u00e0 une longue lign\u00e9e de gens qui ont embrass\u00e9 la profession, la passion de leur p\u00e8re et qui lui ont donn\u00e9 suite. Et entendre mon p\u00e8re me dire que j\u2019ai, sur cet album, des chansons d\u2019amour dignes de classiques \u2013 Like A Man et What Other Guy \u2013 est pour moi une chose d\u2019autant plus gratifiante.\u00bb<\/p>\n
