Son premier album <strong><em>This is Gizelle Smith and the Mighty Mocambo <\/em><\/strong>a remis les rythmes funk <em>oldies <\/em>au go\u00fbt du jour et partout les DJs rongent leur frein en attendant le prochain, pr\u00e9vu pour l\u2019automne.<\/p>\n<p>Nul doute que le coup de foudre sera r\u00e9ciproque entre la chanteuse et les festivaliers de tous \u00e2ges dimanche soir. Une vague de fraicheur \u00e0 ne manquer sous aucun pr\u00e9texte.<\/p>\n<p>Le son est bien vieillot, sans honte ni remords d&rsquo;avoir scrupuleusement utilis\u00e9 de vieux micros et amplis, pour finalement retrouver la fraicheur du son <em>deep-funk <\/em>actuel, mais sans cacher les influences du pass\u00e9. C&rsquo;est un album puissant, simple et efficace. 12 titres \u00e0 la production \u00e9pur\u00e9e pour du pur <em>funk-soul<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Gizelle Smith and the Mighty Mocambo <\/em><\/strong>: Cuivres, guitare, basse, batterie, orgue et percussions, compos\u00e9 de musiciens blancs de face, pure <em>english <\/em>style!
