Scheduled for release on August\u00a022<sup>nd<\/sup> on the <strong>Disques Bros<\/strong> label, <em>Postcards from London<\/em> offers a rich, evocative musical journey where blues, folk, and modern sounds intertwine with finesse and emotion.<\/p>\n<p>On tour this fall, <strong>Guy B\u00e9langer<\/strong> will perform pieces from <em>Postcards from London<\/em> with his band on several stages across Quebec, including the <strong>Grand Th\u00e9\u00e2tre de Qu\u00e9bec<\/strong> (October\u00a016<sup>th<\/sup>), <strong>Salle Dussault in Thetford Mines<\/strong> (November\u00a07<sup>th<\/sup>), <strong>Studio TD in Montreal<\/strong> (November\u00a015<sup>th<\/sup>), and <strong>Salle Jean-Despr\u00e9z in Gatineau<\/strong> (November\u00a020<sup>th<\/sup>). Additional dates will be announced soon.<\/p>\n<p>Produced by <strong>Guy B\u00e9langer<\/strong> and <strong>Rob MacDonald<\/strong>, and mixed by the renowned <strong>Larry O\u2019Malley<\/strong> and <strong>Glenn Scott<\/strong> (<strong>Eric Bibb<\/strong>, <strong>Mary\u00a0J. Bli<\/strong>ge, <strong>James Blunt<\/strong>), the album features inspired collaborations with <strong>Eric Longsworth<\/strong> (cello), <strong>M\u00e9lissa<\/strong> <strong>Lavergne<\/strong> (percussion), <strong>Tommy Gauthier<\/strong> (violin), <strong>Mark LeClerc<\/strong> (saxophone), <strong>Rob Lutes<\/strong> (vocals), and <strong>Yves Frulla<\/strong> (<strong>Celine Dion<\/strong>) on piano. Produced by <strong>Session\u00a05 Entertainment<\/strong>, <em>Postcards from London<\/em> evokes both the roots of blues and film music, all with a distinctly British touch.<\/p>\n<p><em>I never imagined, even in my wildest dreams, that I would one day find myself in London recording at the legendary Abbey Road Studios!
