Montreal, May 2025<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 After performing nearly 20\u00a0shows across Sweden, Germany, Spain, France, and England, Dominique Fils-Aim\u00e9<\/strong> will release her new album Live at The Festival International de Jazz de Montr\u00e9al<\/em> on June\u00a06. The album is a lasting memory of her major outdoor performance on June\u00a029, 2024, where Dominique<\/strong> gracefully revisited her discography, joined on stage by 16\u00a0musicians and backing vocalists.<\/p>\n

Dominique Fils-Aim\u00e9<\/strong> brings a new dimension to each track, expanding her vocal range and improvising original melodies. The band also takes creative risks, pushing the boundaries of Dominique<\/strong>\u2019s repertoire with fresh, bold sounds. Live at The Festival International de Jazz de Montr\u00e9al<\/em> explores a wide and beautiful sonic landscape, from the upbeat rhythm of Tall Lion Down<\/em> to the explosive energy of Love Take Over<\/em> and the renewed interpretation of While We Wait<\/em>. Together, Dominique<\/strong> and her ensemble push their limits, delivering an unforgettable performance.<\/p>\n

Dominique Fils-Aim\u00e9<\/strong> and her exceptional band will perform two shows at the Grand Th\u00e9\u00e2tre de Qu\u00e9bec<\/strong> on May\u00a031 before flying to Japan to take part in the World Expo<\/strong> in Osaka. The tour then continues to Vienna (opening for Jamie<\/strong> Cullum<\/strong> at Jazz \u00e0 Vienne), Casablanca<\/strong> (at the Jazzablanca Festival<\/strong>), and Rotterdam (at the legendary North Sea Jazz Festival<\/strong>), before returning to Canada to perform at Le Festif!<\/strong> in Baie St-Paul on July\u00a018.<\/p>\n
