The all-new, totally redesigned series leaves no detail unrevealed, as Monitor Audio<\/strong> Group<\/strong> delivers the finest, most exhilarating loudspeaker range yet to carry the Gold Series<\/em> name.<\/span><\/p>\n

A comprehensive, highly flexible and user-friendly range, Gold Series 6G<\/em> comprises six distinctive loudspeakers. Each model addresses a clearly defined user requirement, adds innovative acoustic technologies, and is crafted to celebrate and exude the distinctiveness and quality customers expect from the Gold Series<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Acoustic Innovation<\/span>
\nMonitor Audio<\/strong>\u2019s Gold Series<\/em> has a long history of introducing innovative acoustic technologies, and this sixth generation is no different. Gold Series 6G<\/em> boasts a totally new metal cone technology in the form of H<\/em><\/strong>exagonal D<\/strong>iaphragm T<\/strong>echnology (HDT)<\/em>. HDT<\/em> draws on the RDT\u00a0III<\/em> cones utilised in the ground-breaking Hyphn<\/em> and the flagship Platinum Series 3G<\/em>, which consists of a Nomex<\/em> honeycomb layer sandwiched between aluminum and carbon fibre skins. The HDT<\/em> cone employs a new hexagonal pattern to disrupt symmetries in the cone breakup, creating a cone that shifts the frequency up by 10\u00a0% compared to the RST\u00a0II<\/em> cones found on the Silver Series 7G<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The new cone also utilises Monitor Audio<\/strong>\u2019s proprietary C-CAM<\/em> technology, which when compared to standard aluminum designs produces a stronger, more fatigue-resistant cone. The result is that the new HDT<\/em>, C-CAM<\/em> cones are among the strongest, most piston-like cones Monitor Audio<\/strong> has ever engineered. The new HDT<\/em>, C-CAM<\/em> cones have been utilised across the range, including a new 3-inch mid-frequency driver, a 6-inch bass-mid unit, and 6- and 8-inch bass drivers.<\/p>\n

Crossover Design<\/strong><\/span>

The crossovers have been developed using high-quality capacitors and have undergone hundreds of hours of listening by Monitor Audio<\/strong>‘s acoustic team.
