TEAC Corporation<\/strong> (TOKYO: 6803<\/strong>) is proud to announce the release of the model UD-507<\/em>, a completely redesigned 500 Series<\/em> DAC\/Preamp\/Headphone Amplifier with high-end 700<\/em> Series<\/em> design concept in a compact A4<\/em> size package. Products will be available for shipment in late June.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nThe UD-507<\/em> is equipped with our proprietary TRDD5<\/em> (T<\/em><\/strong>EAC R<\/strong>eference D<\/strong>iscrete D<\/strong>AC<\/em>), which was designed with musicality as the top priority, following in the footsteps of the discrete DAC<\/em> design applied to the acclaimed 701 series<\/em>. TEAC<\/strong> Brand Manager, Jo Yoshida<\/strong> states: The most important feature of the <\/em>UD-507 is the newly designed and manufactured <\/em>TRDD 5 discrete <\/em>D\/A converter. \nFully Balanced Dual Monaural Headphone Amplifier<\/strong><\/span>
\nThe UD-507 is a headphone amplifier featuring the TEAC-HCLD2 (TEAC High Current Line Driver), which is characterized by its high current supply capability. Compared to the previous model, the maximum output power has been greatly improved by strengthening the power supply, resulting in a generous driving power of 1,200\u00a0mW\u00a0+ 1,200\u00a0mW (balanced output at 100\u00a0ohm load), which is comparable to a dedicated headphone amplifier without DAC. The power amplifier gain can be switched between 3\u00a0positions (Low\u00a0\/ Mid\u00a0\/ High) to fine-tune the output to best match the sensitivity and impedance of the headphones.<\/span><\/p>\n

High-Quality Preamplifier with Multiple Analog\/Digital Inputs<\/span>
\nThe UD-507 incorporates the TEAC-QVCS (Quad Volume Control System) high precision analog volume attenuator and the powerful TEAC-HCLD2 high current line buffer circuit. With five digital inputs and two analog inputs (unbalanced and balanced), a wide variety of devices can be connected.<\/span>
