Perfected.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Bowers\u00a0&amp; Wilkins<\/strong> introduces the <em>700\u00a0S3 Signature<\/em>\u00a0\u2013 the ultimate version of its acclaimed <em>700\u00a0Series<\/em> loudspeaker range.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The new <em>702\u00a0S3\u00a0Signature<\/em> floorstanding loudspeaker further refines and advances the already exceptional <em>702\u00a0S3<\/em>, introducing all-new levels of insight and realism that put it in a class of its own.<\/li>\n<li>The new range also introduces the <em>705\u00a0S3\u00a0Signature<\/em> standmount loudspeaker, designed to bring category-defining levels of transparency and accuracy to a more compact footprint, making it the perfect choice for discerning listeners in smaller spaces.<\/li>\n<li>For the first time, the <em>700\u00a0S3\u00a0Signature<\/em> range includes a new center speaker, the <em>HTM71\u00a0S3\u00a0Signature<\/em>, ensuring <em>Signature<\/em>-series levels of performance for home theatre enthusiasts when combined with the <em>702\u00a0S3\u00a0Signature<\/em> and <em>705\u00a0S3\u00a0Signature<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Bowers\u00a0&amp; Wilkins<\/strong> only uses the <em>Signature<\/em> name sparingly, reserving it for the rare and radically upgraded versions of its conventional loudspeakers and technologies. Since the brand was founded in 1966, only eight series of loudspeaker have carried the prestigious <em>Signature<\/em> mark\u00a0\u2013 a reflection of its prestige and exclusivity.<\/p>\n<p>The new <strong>Bowers\u00a0&amp; Wilkins<\/strong> <em>702\u00a0S3\u00a0Signature<\/em>, <em>705\u00a0S3\u00a0Signature<\/em> and <em>HTM71\u00a0S3\u00a0Signature<\/em> models build on a heritage that stretches back to the acclaimed <em>Silver Signature<\/em> loudspeaker of 1991, originally developed as a posthumous tribute to the founder of the company, <strong>John Bowers<\/strong>. The new models build on the already exceptional performance and aesthetic benchmarks of the standard <em>700\u00a0Series<\/em> models that form the basis of their respective designs, featuring carefully upgraded componentry plus luxurious and beautiful new finishes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Perfection, perfected<br \/>\n<\/strong>The larger model in the new <em>Signature<\/em> range is the <em>702\u00a0S3\u00a0Signature<\/em>, a powerful three-way floorstanding loudspeaker that builds on the specification of the <em>702\u00a0S3<\/em>, the flagship model in the <em>700\u00a0Series<\/em> range.<\/p>\n<p>The heart of the design is its <em>Carbon Dome<\/em> tweeter, housed in a decoupled <em>Tweeter-on-Top<\/em> aluminum enclosure and enhanced in this model with the addition of a new protective tweeter grille mesh derived from the <em>800\u00a0Series Signature<\/em> models, introduced in 2023.<\/p>\n<p>The decoupled <em>Continuum\u2122 Cone FST\u2122<\/em> midrange drive unit\u00a0\u2013 complete with its acclaimed <em>Biomimetic Suspension<\/em>, which notably reduces unwanted coloration emanating from behind the drive unit\u00a0\u2013 ensures clean, effortless insight into the midrange and an open, spacious sound. The <em>702\u00a0S3\u00a0Signature<\/em> also includes three 165\u00a0mm (6.5\u201d) <em>Aerofoil Profile<\/em> bass drivers for full, powerful sounding bass, complete with upgraded drive-unit suspensions (or \u2018spiders\u2019) that help improve bass clarity.<\/p>\n<p>As with all <em>Signature<\/em> models over the years, the <em>702\u00a0S3\u00a0Signature<\/em> benefits from careful upgrades to its crossover aimed at further increasing transparency, with new and upgraded <strong>Mundorf<\/strong> capacitors, improved inductors and revised bypass capacitors.
