Unfortunately, I only managed to get to their static display, though was able to take a few photos of their products there. The first of the products that I took note of was the <strong>Pathos <\/strong><em>InPol Heritage MkII<\/em> amplifier \u20ac17k, which is a 2\u00a0x 80\u00a0W\u00a0\/\u00a0ch, Pure Class\u00a0<em>A<\/em> tube amplifier that is made in Italy, like all <strong>Pathos <\/strong>products.<\/p>\n<p>Sitting also there on display, just to the lower left was the <em>InPol Legacy<\/em> fully balanced dual-mono amplifier; also, a Pure Class\u00a0<em>A<\/em> tube amplifier product with a rather striking look that pulls together natural wood with tube romanticism.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tedpublications.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/DSC09652.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-39949\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tedpublications.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/DSC09652-825x550.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"890\" height=\"593\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tedpublications.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/DSC09652-825x550.jpg 825w, https:\/\/www.tedpublications.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/DSC09652-647x431.jpg 647w, https:\/\/www.tedpublications.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/DSC09652-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.tedpublications.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/DSC09652-272x182.jpg 272w, https:\/\/www.tedpublications.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/DSC09652.jpg 1080w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 890px) 100vw, 890px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Last but not least, in fact nothing anywhere close to least, were the very tall <strong>Pathos <\/strong><em>Legacy Frontiers<\/em> floorstanding loudspeakers \u20ac50,000; a 4-way bass-reflex speaker that offer near full range sound, 28\u00a0Hz to 25\u00a0kHz, with a sensitivity of 88\u00a0dB.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tedpublications.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/DSC09654.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-39951\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tedpublications.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/DSC09654-825x550.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"890\" height=\"593\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tedpublications.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/DSC09654-825x550.jpg 825w, https:\/\/www.tedpublications.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/DSC09654-647x431.jpg 647w, https:\/\/www.tedpublications.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/DSC09654-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.tedpublications.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/DSC09654-272x182.jpg 272w, https:\/\/www.tedpublications.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/DSC09654.jpg 1080w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 890px) 100vw, 890px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>ARETAI with MOONRIVER Audio<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span>Walking down one of the paths between booths, I came across a charming young lady<strong>, Annija Kristiana Sirma<\/strong>, Business Development Manager, for <strong>Aretai<\/strong>, a Latvian loudspeaker company. <strong>Annija<\/strong>, with a friendly smile, ushered me into their booth to get a listen to their loudspeakers.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tedpublications.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/DSC09659.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-39952\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tedpublications.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/DSC09659-825x550.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"890\" height=\"593\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tedpublications.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/DSC09659-825x550.jpg 825w, https:\/\/www.tedpublications.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/DSC09659-647x431.jpg 647w, https:\/\/www.tedpublications.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/DSC09659-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.tedpublications.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/DSC09659-272x182.jpg 272w, https:\/\/www.tedpublications.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/DSC09659.jpg 1080w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 890px) 100vw, 890px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>There on rotation were all three loudspeakers within the <strong>Aretai<\/strong> lineup, including the <em>Contra<\/em> <em>100S<\/em> \u20ac9000\u00a0\/\u00a0pr 2.5-way standmount; <em>Contra 200F<\/em> \u20ac24,000\u00a0\/\u00a0pr 3.5-way floorstander and; the <em>Contra 350F<\/em> \u20ac54,000\u00a0\/\u00a0pr 3.5-way, large floorstander.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tedpublications.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/DSC09658.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-39953\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tedpublications.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/DSC09658-825x550.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"890\" height=\"593\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tedpublications.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/DSC09658-825x550.jpg 825w, https:\/\/www.tedpublications.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/DSC09658-647x431.jpg 647w, https:\/\/www.tedpublications.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/DSC09658-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.tedpublications.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/DSC09658-272x182.jpg 272w, https:\/\/www.tedpublications.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/DSC09658.jpg 1080w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 890px) 100vw, 890px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>Brothers in Arms<\/em> by <strong>Club for Five<\/strong> was played on the <em>350F<\/em> and the sound had a pleasing density, presenting upfront with a rich and soothing tone and voluminous though well managed bass. Moving over to the smallest <em>100S<\/em>, a <strong>John Coltrane<\/strong> track immediately revealed the speakers quick and nimble nature, with generous detail. The <em>100S<\/em> revealed the atmosphere within the recording and given its size delivered astounding bass reproduction and reach\u00a0\u2013 it does reach down to 32\u00a0Hz. Amplification was via a <strong>MoonRiver Audio<\/strong> <em>Model\u00a0404 Reference<\/em> stereo integrated amplifier \u20ac4950, with a <em>505 Hybrid<\/em> Stereo Phono EQ Stage. <strong>Aretai<\/strong>\u2019s products though available in several European countries; is still working on breaking into North America but I was told that it should be there soon.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">PURITAN Audio Laboratories &amp; LYRAVOX<\/span><br \/>\nPURITAN Audio Labs<\/strong>, had a display within the <strong>LYRAVOX<\/strong> room. It\u2019s there that I met <strong>Mike Lester<\/strong>, the company\u2019s founder.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tedpublications.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/DSC09444-scaled.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-39954\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tedpublications.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/DSC09444-825x550.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"890\" height=\"593\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tedpublications.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/DSC09444-825x550.jpg 825w, https:\/\/www.tedpublications.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/DSC09444-647x431.jpg 647w, https:\/\/www.tedpublications.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/DSC09444-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.tedpublications.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/DSC09444-1536x1024.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/www.tedpublications.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/DSC09444-2048x1365.jpg 2048w, https:\/\/www.tedpublications.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/DSC09444-272x182.jpg 272w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 890px) 100vw, 890px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Mike<\/strong> expounded on the <strong>Puritan<\/strong> products, explaining that unlike typical power conditioners, <strong>Puritan<\/strong>\u2019s remove electrical interference\u00a0\/\u00a0noise, without robbing dynamics and life and serve to reveal greater musical details and larger soundstages. <strong>Puritan<\/strong> offers three levels of products: Entry\u00a0&#8211; <em>Power Bricks<\/em>, Intermediate\u00a0\u2013 <em>Power Strips<\/em> and their Very Best\u00a0\u2013 <em>Studio Master Series<\/em>. darTZeel Audio<\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong>It seemed that <strong>Stenheim<\/strong> and <strong>darTZeel Audio<\/strong> had decided they might work collaboratively at the show, as I found their products paired together in no less than three rooms:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Room 1:<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nThe first and smallest system combined an <strong>Stenheim<\/strong> <em>Alumine Two.Five<\/em> floorstander with <strong>darTZeel<\/strong> <em>CTH 8550 mkII<\/em> integrated amplifier and <em>LHC 208 MkII<\/em> danalogue (phono) amplifier connected to a <strong>Thales<\/strong> <em>TTT-Compact\u00a0II<\/em> turntable, strapped with <strong>Wayxseries<\/strong> cables and <strong>VDM Sound Group<\/strong> acoustic panels.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-40190\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tedpublications.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/DSC09287-825x550.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"890\" height=\"593\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tedpublications.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/DSC09287-825x550.jpg 825w, https:\/\/www.tedpublications.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/DSC09287-647x431.jpg 647w, https:\/\/www.tedpublications.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/DSC09287-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.tedpublications.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/DSC09287-272x182.jpg 272w, https:\/\/www.tedpublications.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/DSC09287.jpg 1080w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 890px) 100vw, 890px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This system sounded beautifully transparent, quick and lifelike.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Room 2:<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nIt was comprised of the <strong>Stenheim<\/strong> <em>Alumine Three<\/em> floorstander, again with a <strong>darTZeel<\/strong> <em>CTH-8550 MkII<\/em> integrated amplifier and <em>LHC-208 MkII<\/em> danalogue amplifier connected to a <strong>Thiele<\/strong> <em>TT01<\/em> zero tracking error turntable with <strong>Sumiko<\/strong> cartridge.<\/p>\n<table style=\"border-collapse: collapse; It stepped things up considerably by using the <strong>Stenheim<\/strong> <em>Reference Ultime Two<\/em> loudspeakers with <strong>darTZeel<\/strong> <em>NHB-18NS MkII<\/em> preamplifier; <em>LHC-208 MkII<\/em> network player\u00a0\/\u00a0DAC\u00a0\/\u00a0integrated; and a pair of <em>NHB-468<\/em> monoblock power amplifiers sitting on <strong>Thixar<\/strong> Stands.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-40192\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tedpublications.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/DSC09550-825x550.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"890\" height=\"593\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tedpublications.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/DSC09550-825x550.jpg 825w, https:\/\/www.tedpublications.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/DSC09550-647x431.jpg 647w, https:\/\/www.tedpublications.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/DSC09550-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.tedpublications.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/DSC09550-272x182.jpg 272w, https:\/\/www.tedpublications.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/DSC09550.jpg 1080w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 890px) 100vw, 890px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The analog sources were a pair of tables from Japan, by <strong>CSPort<\/strong>: the <em>LFT1M2 <\/em>turntable system and a <em>TAT1M2<\/em> table. I was amazed at the lifelike rendition of bell tones from the vinyl LP.
