Esoteric \/ TEAC<\/span>
\n<\/strong>The Esoteric\u00a0\/\u00a0TEAC<\/strong> room was producing very sweet sounds with what I might call hyper detail, impressive micro dynamics and a riveting delicacy in the upper treble that complemented the romantic lighting of the room. To the left was a system that was static; comprised of an Esoteric<\/strong> N-05 XD<\/em> Network DAC\u00a0\/\u00a0Preamplifier; the all-new K-05XD SACD\u00a0\/\u00a0CDP<\/em> \u20ac13,500 and S-05<\/em> Stereo Power Amplifier. The main system stack included the 35th<\/sup>\u00a0anniversary Grandioso T1<\/em> Analog Turntable; flagship E02<\/em> Balanced Phonostage Preamplifier \u20ac12,000; a Grandioso G1X<\/em> Master Clock Generator and N-03T<\/em> Network Audio Transport.<\/p>\n

In the right stack was the company\u2019s new Grandioso C1X<\/em> solo Linestage Preamplifier \u20ac29,000 sitting above a Grandioso P1X SACD<\/em> Transport with matching power supply, below. Out in front was the all-new Grandioso S1X<\/em> Stereo Power Amplifier \u20ac39,000. This system\u2019s lovely sound was also attributed to the pair of elegant black Wilson Audio<\/strong> Sasha DAW<\/em> loudspeakers and Nordost<\/strong> ODIN\u00a02<\/em> cables that it was paired with.<\/p>\n

Fezz Audio with Pylon<\/span>
\nFezz Audio<\/strong> paired up with Pylon Audio<\/strong>, both brands from Poland to demonstrate their products. The room had lovely d\u00e9cor and finishes and was attracting a crowd when I arrived.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Though I did get in for a listen to the system, the tight and crowded space only allowed a photo of the equipment stack. From left top down was first a pair of Evolution<\/em>\u00a0\u2013 Fezz<\/strong> Titania<\/em> Power Amplifiers (each running mono, for 80\u00a0W side); on the bottom right, a Fezz Audio<\/strong>\u00a0– Evolution Sagita<\/em> Pre-Amplifier and to the right middle shelf, a Fezz<\/strong> Gratia<\/em> MM\u00a0\/\u00a0MC phonostage. While I was there, the Ayon<\/strong> CD-10<\/em> was the source; however, I would have like to hear the Muarah<\/strong> MT2 Special Edition<\/em> turntable that was sitting there on stanby.<\/p>\n

Listening to the music, I was emersed in a rich, full, laid back sound that was soft around the edges and cast broad images. The loudspeakers were Pylon Audio<\/strong> Jade\u00a020<\/em> monitors \u20ac2790, which I did get a picture of outside the room sitting flanking some gorgeous army green Fezz Audio<\/strong> components.
\n\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

LAB 12<\/span>
\nLAB\u00a012<\/strong>, a company from Athens, Greece was showing their all-new (prototype) naya<\/em> hybrid integrated amplifier, with built-in USB DAC<\/em> and phonostage, which delivers 100\u00a0watts\u00a0\/\u00a0ch \u20ac3500\u00a0– \u20ac4000 expected (sitting on right). On the left, was also the new Irama<\/em>, parallel single ended mono power amplifier, that will come in two versions: i) with 4\u00a0x KT\u00a0170\u00a0\/ 120\u00a0W; or ii) 2\u00a0x 300\u00a0B\u00a0\/\u00a020\u00a0W at an estimated \u20ac4000\u00a0\/\u00a0pair.<\/p>\n

Though not new, also on display were a few other specimens, including the Melto2<\/em> fully adjustable phono amplifier; and the Mighty Class\u00a0A<\/em> Single Ended Power Amplifier sitting on top of a True passive attenuator\u00a0\/\u00a0input selector.<\/p>\n

MYTEK<\/span>
\nMytek<\/strong> had a headphone listening table setup with a number of their components including their: Brooklyn Amp+<\/em> and Brooklyn Bridge\u00a0II ROON<\/em> Bundle \u20ac5995 as well as their Brooklyn Bridge\u00a0II ROON CORE<\/em> \u20ac3995.<\/p>\n

\"\"\u00a0 <\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I made my way into their listening room setup, where they had their Empire<\/em> Streamer DAC \u20ac12,498 paired to Empire<\/em> Monoblock amplifiers \u20ac9995\u00a0\/\u00a0each, that were playing out through Magico\u00a0A3<\/em> loudspeakers (not pictured). The sound of this setup brought attention to the delicate details and patina in cymbals with wonderful texture and tone; a very engaging sound.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

PIEGA Switzerland<\/strong><\/span>
\nPIEGA Switzerland<\/strong> was showing off their all-new Master Line Source 2 GEN2<\/em> loudspeaker \u20ac37,500\u00a0\/\u00a0per loudspeaker, plus bottom plate \u20ac1250\u00a0\/\u00a0each. The loudspeakers were being driven by a T+A<\/strong> SDV 3100HV<\/em> integrated amplifier with a LINN<\/strong> Sondek LP12<\/em> on standby.<\/p>\n

While I was there, the streaming of some Latin guitar music demonstrated a propensity for details, speed combined with an intrinsic harmonic warmth. On static display in the entrance to the room were a few other models from PIEGA<\/strong> that demonstrate Swiss simplicity and elegance of form\u00a0\u2013 the models including (left to right): the new Premium\u00a0701<\/em> Wireless Gen2<\/em>; 501\u00a0Wireless Gen2<\/em>; 301 Wireless Gen2<\/em>; Connect Plus<\/em> then the; Ace\u00a050 Wireless<\/em>; Ace\u00a030 Wireless<\/em> and finally; Ace Center Wireless.<\/p>\n
