Martha sera en spectacle \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al, au <a class=\"trackingA\" href=\"https:\/\/rialto.ticketpro.ca\/?lang=fr&amp;aff=rialto#achat_RIA16KS16\" target=\"_blank\">Th\u00e9\u00e2tre Rialto<\/a>, ce mercredi 16 novembre dans le cadre de <strong>M pour Montr\u00e9al<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 travers les 12 nouvelles pi\u00e8ces de <strong><em>Goodnight City<\/em><\/strong>, on constate un retour aux sources pour l\u2019interpr\u00e8te, \u00e0 fleur-de-peau. Pour ce nouvel opus, elle a collabor\u00e9 avec <strong>Thomas Bartlett<\/strong> (Sufjan Stevens, Glen Hansard) et <strong>Brad Albetta<\/strong> (Angus &amp; Julia Stone et Teddy Thompson) pour cr\u00e9er un album poignant qui couvre un large spectre stylistique de fa\u00e7on fluide et homog\u00e8ne.<\/p>\n<p>Martha signe la moiti\u00e9 des pi\u00e8ces de l\u2019album. Les autres pistes lui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 offertes par de grands auteurs-compositeurs tels que <strong>Beth Orton<\/strong>, <strong>Glen Hensard<\/strong>, <strong>Michael Ondaatje<\/strong> et <strong>Merrill Garbus<\/strong> de tUnE-yArDs ou par les membres de sa talentueuse famille dont son fr\u00e8re <strong>Rufus Wainwright<\/strong>, sa tante <strong>Anna McGarrigle<\/strong> et sa cousine <strong>Lily Lanken<\/strong>. Martha raconte : \u00ab Parce que ces auteurs me connaissent et qu\u2019ils m\u2019ont permis de retoucher certains trucs ici et l\u00e0, j\u2019ai v\u00e9ritablement l\u2019impression que ces chansons m\u2019appartiennent.
