Montr\u00e9al, le 9 mars 2016<\/strong> – Nous avons appris hier avec consternation l’annulation de la 29e<\/sup> \u00e9dition du Salon Son & Image<\/strong>. Cette annonce, faite par les nouveaux propri\u00e9taires du SSI<\/strong>, le Chester Group<\/em><\/strong> d’Angleterre, qui survient \u00e0 moins de deux semaines avant la tenue de l’\u00e9v\u00e8nement a caus\u00e9 dans l’Industrie au complet, un v\u00e9ritable tsunami.<\/p>\n

Ayant investi dix ann\u00e9es de notre vie professionnelle \u00e0 faire de cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement une r\u00e9f\u00e9rence dans l’Industrie, cette situation nous d\u00e9sole au plus haut point et nous ne pouvions tout simplement pas accepter de voir dispara\u00eetre cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement si appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 de tous.<\/p>\n

Moins d’une heure apr\u00e8s l’annonce, les anciens propri\u00e9taires du SSI<\/strong> ainsi que plusieurs membres de l’industrie, ont form\u00e9 une organisation sans but lucratif et cr\u00e9\u00e9 le Salon Audio de Montr\u00e9al<\/strong> afin de s’assurer que l’\u00e9v\u00e8nement tant attendu ait lieu tel que pr\u00e9vu la semaine prochaine, du 18 au 20 mars 2016, \u00e0 l’H\u00f4tel Bonaventure.<\/p>\n

Exceptionnellement pour cette \u00e9dition, – l’admission sera gratuite pour les visiteurs, <\/strong>car il y aura moins d’exposants, mais la qualit\u00e9 des pr\u00e9sentations sera identique aux ann\u00e9es pass\u00e9es. Les tarifs pour les exposants ont \u00e9t\u00e9 grandement r\u00e9duits, afin de retenir un maximum d’entre eux.<\/p>\n

Alors voil\u00e0, vous \u00eates tous invit\u00e9s \u00e0 vous joindre \u00e0 nous pour venir c\u00e9l\u00e9brer la naissance du Salon Audio de Montr\u00e9al.<\/p>\n

Montreal, March 9th<\/sup> 2016 – <\/strong>Yesterday, it was announced by the new organizers, Chester Group<\/strong>, that they were giving up on the 29th<\/sup> edition of the Montreal Audio Show.<\/em> This created a real tsunami amongst the industry.<\/p>\n

We dedicated 10 years of our career to -making this show a reference in the industry. We just could not accept that this magical event would disappear.<\/p>\n

Without a minute of hesitation, the former owners of the show, along with a group of industry members, have decided to form a new non-profit organization and maintain the show to be run next week, from the 18th<\/sup> to the 20th<\/sup> of March. After this edition of the show, a board of directors will be elected in order to plan the future of this iconic event.<\/p>\n

Exceptionally this year, the admission for the public will be FREE<\/strong> as there will be a limited amount of exhibitors, but the quality of the presentation will be the same as usual. The rate for the exhibitors has been drastically reduced, to make sure we attract as many as possible.<\/p>\n

So, we invite everyone to come and join us to celebrate this new Montreal Audio Fest.<\/strong><\/p>\n
