\nHommage au pianiste Jan Jarczy<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n

Saxophoniste, compositeur et arrangeur, Jean-Pierre Zanella est tr\u00e8s recherch\u00e9 sur la sc\u00e8ne musicale du Qu\u00e9bec. Apr\u00e8s avoir obtenu sa ma\u00eetrise en Jazz \u00e0 la Eastman School of Music \u00e0 Rochester N.Y., il s\u2019est produit au festival de Jazz de Montreux et au Congr\u00e8s International de Saxophone \u00e0 Nuremberg en 1982. La m\u00eame ann\u00e9e, il a enregistr\u00e9 deux albums avec Eastman Jazz Ensemble et Saxology qui ont remport\u00e9 le \u00abDownbeat Recording Award\u00bb pour le meilleur groupe de Jazz de l\u2019ann\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

Au cours des ann\u00e9es, il a pris part \u00e0 de nombreux \u00e9v\u00e9nements sur la sc\u00e8ne du jazz en France, un peu partout au Canada, au Br\u00e9sil et \u00e0 Hong Kong. Il est \u00e9galement le r\u00e9cipiendaire du prestigieux Prix Oscar-Peterson 2011, d\u00e9cern\u00e9 par le Festival International de Jazz de Montr\u00e9al. Il se produira au Di\u00e8se Onze en compagnie de ses invit\u00e9s sp\u00e9ciaux les jeudis 4, 11 et 18 septembre.
