HAI by Leviton Unveils Hi-Fi 2 Four Zone, Four Source Distributed Audio System<\/strong><\/p>\n

Compact yet powerful audio system offers remote control for any size installation
\n<\/em>
\n<\/strong>HAI by Leviton<\/strong> recently announced the Hi-Fi\u00a02 Four Zone, Four Source (4×4) Distributed Audio System<\/em>. The new version is a more compact and inexpensive extension of the company\u2019s revolutionary Hi-Fi\u00a02<\/em> system, ideal for controlling, sharing and listening to audio systems in buildings with multiple units, such as townhomes, luxury hotel suites, condominiums and small office buildings. The system can be controlled via the included remote control or directly by the free Android<\/em> or iPhone<\/em> application.<\/p>\n

The new Hi-Fi\u00a02 4×4<\/em> provides an affordable distributed audio option with 20\u00a0watts per channel that fits directly into a Leviton<\/em><\/strong> Structured Media Center<\/em> wiring enclosure at half-width. As with the entire Hi-Fi\u00a02<\/em> line, the new 4×4<\/em> model allows users to listen to and share music sources with any room that has speakers connected to the device.\u00a0Both local and remote source inputs are standard features, with optional wireless Bluetooth<\/em> connectivity. The R<\/em><\/strong>emote I<\/strong>nput M<\/strong>odule<\/em> (RIM) features a routed IR<\/em> emitter jack for remotely controlling existing source equipment from any room that has a volume source control.<\/p>\n

\u201cHAI by Leviton\u2019s<\/em><\/strong>Hi-Fi\u00a02 is already the most compact yet powerful system on the market, so the addition of a four zone, four source version ensures that this product can be even more affordable for any size installation,<\/em>\u201d said Jay McLellan<\/strong>, president of HAI by Leviton<\/strong>. \u201cThis development is yet another example of HAI by Leviton<\/strong> providing contractors and installers with solutions that are best suited for their specific needs.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n

The Hi-Fi\u00a02 4×4<\/em> unit uses the same volume source control, RIM<\/em> and optional Bluetooth RIM<\/em> as the larger Hi-Fi\u00a02 8×8<\/em>. The new version comes complete with the Hi-Fi\u00a02 4×4<\/em> amplifier, four volume source controls, two remote input modules, a remote control and a power supply, all packaged in an environmentally friendly carton made of 100 percent recycled materials. Color change kits are also available separately for the wall-mounted volume source control and remote input modules.<\/p>\n
