\nStar race car Lightning McQueen and his pal Mater head overseas to compete in the World Grand Prix race. But the road to the championship becomes rocky as Mater gets caught up in an intriguing adventure of his own: international espionage.<\/p>\n

My Take:<\/strong>
\nHaving seen so many movies in 3D theatrically, I can say that this 3D release better than any theatrical presentation I\u2019ve seen on a CGI movie; it was perfect. As a big fan of 3D but not a big fan of the current 3D presentation, I usually feel a bit off when watching things at home with active shutter glasses. However, it was the best 3D I have yet to experience. Cars 2<\/em> is one movie that is made more exciting in 3D. The races are awesome as cars go from deep in the background to whizzing off screen right at you. The silly spy subplot is enhanced by the 3D as well. Finn McMissile flying through the sky or swimming underwater is so detailed with a dimensionality that is just mind boggling, jaw dropping and drool inducing. This is definitely the best 3D Blu-ray release yet. Coupled with delightfully vibrant colors, blacks that are thoroughly impressive and fine details on every image on-screen and I now have a complete reference disc for both 2D and 3D.<\/p>\n

The DTS-HD 7.1 Master Audio sound really rocked my theatre room<\/a>.. Revving engines and explosions are LFE candy, while the effects channels are full of life with pin-point accuracy. This is as dynamic a track as you have heard. Dialogue is always discernible and there is not a flaw in this aggressive, big and loud mix that is quite the show off for my system, your system or anybody else\u2019s for that matter.<\/p>\n
