Arcam, designer and manufacturer of award winning Hi-Fi and home cinema equipment, has launched the all new rHead<\/em> headphone amplifier in Canada. The compact, robust and beautifully built rHead<\/em> encompasses true linear Class\u00a0A design, resulting in absolutely no crossover distortion to ofer the purest sound. The layout has been optimized as well as areas like multiple ultra-low noise power supplies and a fully direct coupled signal path have been reviewed thus making a big difference –\u00a0proof of the extensive care and attention brought to the product by the manufacturer. The volume control is an ultra-linear analog resistive ladder device, as used in Arcam<\/strong>\u2019s flagship A49<\/em> integrated amplifier, eliminating tracking errors often found in normal potentiometer-based volume controls.<\/p>\n

Comprehensive protection systems prevent damage to the rHead<\/em> while not interfering in any way with the ultimate reproduction of the sound. The rHead<\/em> sounds amazingly natural and completely engaging, and reveals the true character of any music that\u2019s played through it.<\/p>\n

\"arcam_rHead_rear_ang\"<\/a>The rHead<\/em> is more than capable of driving the most demanding of headphones. Both RCA<\/em> and XLR<\/em> inputs (switchable) are available, as well as both 3.5 and 6.35mm sockets, allowing for ultimate headphone listening flexibility.<\/p>\n

The rHead<\/em> will begin shipping next month (September 2016) from Erikson Consumer<\/strong> and will be retailed for $899.<\/p>\n
