Storyline (courtesy of imdb.com)
Throughout history, tales of chivalry have burnished the legends of brave, handsome knights who rescue fair damsels, slay dragons and conquer evil. But behind many a hero is a good-for-nothing younger brother trying just to stay out of the way of those dragons, evil and trouble in general. Danny McBride and James Franco team up for an epic comedy adventure set in a fantastical world.

My Take
Your Highness
is a fantasy/comedy that revolves around a small medieval kingdom where the brave and gallant Prince Fabious and the shallow and lazy Prince Thadeous become involved in a quest to rescue from the evil sorcerer Leezar.  It’s a simple yet effective plot that unfortunately severely tainted by the idiocy when it comes to… well, everything in this movie.

Don’t get me wrong, I like silly movies.  I like park-your-brain-at-the-door movies.  However, this movie straddles between stupid and utter idiocy.  It’s quite sad, really considering the strong cast plus two of my favourite ladies (Zooey Deschanel and natalie Portman)  are in this movie.

Although picture quality is almost astonishing coupled with a crystal clear sound quality, unfortunately this movies is not for everybody.  Heck, maybe this movie is not for anybody.  It is for certain the second worst comedy I’ve watched in the past two years.
