CES 2011 Venetian 2

Audio Physic

Celebrating the 25th anniversary, Audio Physic
showcased their Virgo 25 anniversary-edition tower speakers (in white) and Tempo 25 (shown here in woodgrain finish). For playback demo, Audio Physic chose Trigon audio system that consists of Dialog pre-amp, Monolog mono power amp, with CD1 CD player as a source.

Tivoli Audio

As shown, Tivoli showcases their micro lifestyle system which are so stylish yet very neutral approach of the design does not require any design change annually.

PSB Speakers

This year, the Canadian-designed PSB showcased the recently released SubSeries 300i, a mid-sized powered subwoofer with the might of a large sized one. New to the show are the PSB Imagine Mini, the smallest size bookshelf speaker in the Imagine lineup and also PSB Image B6 Monitor, the smallest monitor in the Image lineup.

Simaudio Moon

In 1980 Simaudio began producing affordable yet high quality home audio products for the home and professional industry. The company rapidly gained a local reputation for its products offering a level of quality that was considered a definite step above the competition. Company philosophy, local manufacturing and a passion for music all played key roles in the early success of Simaudio.

Showcased at CES are a slew of new Moon audio equipments such as:

The MOON 850P Reference dual-mono Preamplifier is a fully balanced differential design housed in 2 chassis; both the power supply and controller circuitry are located in the upper chassis, while the lower chassis contains audio circuitry only.

The MOON 110LP Phono Preamplifier follows in the footsteps of the musical yet compact LP3.

The MOON 880M Reference Mono Power Amplifier effortlessly produces a walloping 800 watts into 8 ohms (1600 watts @ 4 ohms).

The MOON 650D DAC/Transport, a more affordable fully asynchronous 32-bit DAC, features our M-AJiC32 circuitry (an asynchronous jitter elimination system) built around the ES9016S ESS Sabre32 Ultra DAC / Digital Filter.

The MOON 100D Digital-to-Analog Converter accepts USB, TosLink and S/PDIF digital inputs, uses an asynchronous sample rate converter and then 24-bit DACs. Housed in a compact yet rigid chassis with circuitry based on the highly successful 300D, the 100D uses 24-bit/1.411MHz processing and proprietary digital clocking system for substantial jitter reduction.

MOON 330A amplifier produces 125 watts RMS into 8Ω and 250 watts RMS into 4Ω. Using on highly acclaimed Advanced Renaissance zero global feedback circuit.

The MOON 400M, a compact yet high-powered differential monaural amplifier. Based on Simaudio’s highly acclaimed Advanced Renaissance zero global feedback circuit, this DC coupled amplifier produces 400 watts RMS into 8Ω and 650 watts RMS into 4Ω. A high damping factor allows for tight and authoritative bass that, when combined with a transparent lifelike soundstage, results in an amplifier which will effortlessly drive any loudspeaker.

The MOON 600i Integrated Amplifier. A fully balanced differential, dual-mono design, it produces the most potent 125 watts/ch. @ 8 ohms you will ever experience.

The MOON 700i a fully balanced differential, dual-mono design conservatively rated at 175 watts/ch. @ 8 ohms and 350 watts/ch. @ 4 ohms.

Very recently developed features include the M-eVOL2 volume control with 530 individual steps, proprietary MOON output transistors with unprecedented signal linearity and an input stage to further reduce noise and preserve image focus.

MOON 300D Digital-to-Analog Converter features 1 USB input allowing for seamless integration with a computer, 1 optical TosLink input and a pair of S/PDIF (RCA) inputs. Sampling rates are 32, 44.1, 48, 88.2, 96, 176.4 & 192kHz. Bit-depth range is from 16 through 24 bits with internal processing at 352.8kHz.

The MOON 750D DAC/Transport features the new M-AJiC32 circuitry (an asynchronous jitter elimination system) built around the ES9018 ESS Sabre32 Reference Audio DAC.  Other features include M-Quattro 4-point floating suspension and,
